Description
Vysov 50 mg Tablet is an antidiabetic medicine used alone or in combination with other medicines to treat type 2 diabetes in adults. Type 2 diabetes is a chronic condition that affects the way the body processes blood sugar (glucose). With type 2 diabetes, the body either does not produce enough insulin or resists insulin. Vysov 50 mg Tablet works by releasing hormones that increase insulin levels in the blood. This insulin then metabolizes the glucose, hence lowering the blood sugar level. Vysov 50 mg Tablet can be taken with or without food. The dose will depend on your condition and blood sugar levels. It is advised to take this medicine same time every day to maintain a constant level of medicine in the blood. It is very important to do regular exercise and have a healthy diet while taking this medicine as a healthy lifestyle helps in lowering blood glucose levels. Do not stop the treatment abruptly as it can cause unwanted side effects. Complete the whole treatment to feel better. Some common side effects of Vysov 50 mg Tablet are low blood sugar levels, shivering, headache, dizziness, weakness, and nausea. This medicine can lower the blood glucose level more than is required. This can lead to lightheadedness, sweating, dizziness, fainting, and dry mouth. You can carry sugar or glucose candy and have them to control your symptoms if you experience any. Contact your doctor if the side effects do not go away or worry you. Vysov 50 mg Tablet is not recommended for use in patients with type 1 diabetes (a chronic condition in which the pancreas produces little or no insulin) and diabetic ketoacidosis (high levels of blood acids called ketones due to diabetes). This medicine is also not used in children, pregnant and lactating women unless prescribed by a doctor. If you have any kidney or liver diseases then you will be given a dose adjusted according to your condition. This medicine can interact with other medicines and diseases, so it is important to tell your doctor about all the medicines and supplements you take before using this medicine.
