How it works
Glimepiride increases the secretion of insulin from the pancreas and also regulates the glucose from the liver. Metformin decreases absorption of glucose from the intestines and increases the action of insulin in the body. Voglibose works by reducing the blood glucose level by preventing the breakdown of large carbohydrates into glucose. Their combination is thus effective in reducing the blood glucose levels.
