Description
Vigora Force Tablet is a combination of Sildenafil and Dapoxetine. The medicine is used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (a condition that causes difficulty in getting and/or maintaining an erection firm enough for sexual intercourse) and premature ejaculation (a condition where ejaculation happens sooner than expected) in men. Vigora Force Tablet acts by relaxing the blood vessels and increasing the flow of blood to the penis. Vigora Force Tablet may show some side effects like headache, nose bleeds, nausea, indigestion, flushing (sensation of warmth in the ears, face, neck, etc.), and dry mouth. It may also cause dizziness and sleepiness, so do not drive vehicles or perform activities that require mental alertness after taking this medicine. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Vigora Force Tablet can be taken with or without food one to three hours before intercourse or as advised by your doctor. Do not take it without consulting your doctor. Vigora Force Tablet should be used with caution if you have kidney or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you have a history of seizures (fits), depression, or other mental disorders. Vigora Force Tablet can interact with other medicines and cause undesirable effects. Hence inform your doctor about all other medicines you are taking. If you experience pain after taking this medicine or an erection that persists for more than four hours after intercourse, consult your doctor immediately for further guidance.

Allergy

Cardiovascular Disease

Vigora Force Tablet should be avoided if you have preexisting heart problems and sexual activity is not recommended due to the potential risk. This medicine is not recommended for use if you recently had a heart attack (a condition that occurs when the flow of blood to the heart is blocked) or a stroke (a condition that occurs due to decreased oxygen supply to the brain) within the last 6 months, as it may worsen your condition.

Bipolar disorder

Bipolar disorder is a mental condition with extreme mood swings which include mania (elevated mood, hyperactivity, intense excitement, etc.) and depression (low mood and feeling of sadness). Vigora Force Tablet is not recommended if you have a history of bipolar disorder due to the increased risk of worsening your condition.

Loss of consiousness

Vigora Force Tablet is not recommended for use if you have a history of syncope characterised by frequent loss of consciousness and muscle strength.

Liver disease

Vigora Force Tablet is not recommended if you have moderate to severe liver problems due to the increased risk of side effects.

Thioridazine

Thioridazine is a first-generation antipsychotic medicine that is used in the treatment of mental health conditions. Vigora Force Tablet is not recommended for use if you are taking Thioridazine. Vigora Force Tablet should not be taken within 14 days of discontinuing treatment with thioridazine. Similarly, thioridazine can be taken 7 days after stopping the uptake of Vigora Force Tablet.

Nitrate containing medicines

Vigora Force Tablet is not recommended for use if you are taking other medicines containing nitrates (medicines used for chest pain or heart problems such as Nitroglycerin, Isosorbide, etc.). Taking Vigora Force Tablet with a nitrate medication might result in a sudden and severe drop in blood pressure.

Riociguat

Riociguat is a medicine that is used to treat pulmonary arterial hypertension (PAH; high blood pressure in the blood vessels that carry blood to the lungs). Vigora Force Tablet is not recommended for use if you are on treatment with Riociguat, as it may significantly lower your blood pressure, which can be dangerous. You may also experience other side effects such as dizziness, lightheadedness, fainting, flushing, headache, and nasal congestion.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI)

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOIs) are a class of medicines used to treat depression. Vigora Force Tablet is not recommended for use if you have taken MAOIs within the last 14 days due to the increased risk of serious side effects.

General warnings

Use in healthy men

Vigora Force Tablet should not be used if you do not have a premature ejaculation problem. The safety and efficacy of this medicine for delaying ejaculation in healthy men is not established and hence self-administration is not recommended.

Proper diagnosis

It is advised to take Vigora Force Tablet only after a proper diagnosis has been made. This medicine should not be used for other forms of sexual dysfunction.

Hypotension

Hypotension is a decrease in blood pressure. Vigora Force Tablet may cause a fall in blood pressure, especially while getting up from a sitting or a lying position, leading to lightheadedness and fainting. It is advised that you get up slowly from a sitting or a lying position to avoid these side effects during treatment with this medicine. Report any such symptoms to the doctor immediately.

Use in children

Vigora Force Tablet is not recommended for use in children less than 18 years of age.

Bleeding disorders

Vigora Force Tablet should be used with caution if you have an active bleeding disorder due to the increased risk of excessive bleeding.

Seizures

A seizure is a condition in which there is uncontrolled body movement due to an electrical disturbance in the brain. Vigora Force Tablet should be used with caution if you have seizures as this medicine may trigger seizure attacks.

Dizziness and fainiting

Vigora Force Tablet may cause recurring episodes of dizziness and fainting. It is advised that you do not perform activities that require high mental alertness such as driving vehicles or operating machines during treatment with this medicine.

Deformation of penis

Vigora Force Tablet should be used with caution if you have a physical deformity of the penis. The risk of permanent loss of sexual potency is high in such a condition.

Priapism

Priapism is a condition that causes a painful erection lasting for more than six hours. If left untreated, it may result in tissue damage in the penis as well as permanent loss of sexual potency. Hence, Vigora Force Tablet should be used with caution as this medicine may cause priapism in some cases. If you have an erection that persists for more than four hours, seek immediate medical assistance.

Loss of hearing

Vigora Force Tablet may cause a sudden decrease in hearing capabilities along with ringing in the ears and dizziness. Contact your doctor immediately if such symptoms are observed.

Effect on vision

Vigora Force Tablet may cause visual defects in some cases. It can affect your ability to differentiate between colors. It should be used with extreme caution if you have retinitis pigmentosa, a rare genetic disorder of the retina.

Surgery

Vigora Force Tablet can cause a severe drop in your blood pressure when combined with the effects of anaesthesia and other drugs used during surgery. If you are taking this medicine, inform your doctor before undergoing any surgery.

Counseling

The underlying cause of erectile dysfunction may be physical, psychological, or both. It is important to determine the underlying cause of erectile dysfunction to devise an appropriate plan of treatment. Counselling and therapy can increase the effectiveness of Vigora Force Tablet.

Missed Dose

Vigora Force Tablet is used as a single dose when required, so the chances of missing a dose are less.

Overdose

Never take more than the prescribed dose. If you have intentionally or accidentally consumed more than the prescribed amount of Vigora Force Tablet, then you might feel severe dizziness, fainting, painful/prolonged erection. Contact your doctor immediately for further guidance.

Vigora Force Tablet should be used with extreme caution if you have glaucoma (excessive pressure in your eye) due to the increased risk of worsening your condition.

Kidney Disease

Vigora Force Tablet is excreted through the kidneys. If you have pre-existing kidney problems, taking this tablet may cause further damage to your kidneys. Vigora Force Tablet should be avoided if you have severe kidney problems or are on dialysis (a procedure to remove waste products and excess fluid from the blood when the kidneys stop working properly).

Disease of the retina

Vigora Force Tablet should be avoided if you have medical conditions related to the retina (part of your eye that is responsible for vision) where colour discrimination is impaired. This medicine may worsen the condition.

Vigora Force Tablet can be taken with or without food as directed by your physician. Usually, it is taken one to three hours before anticipated sexual activity. Vigora Force Tablet should be taken only once every every day. Avoid driving vehicles or performing any activity requiring concentration until you know how Vigora Force Tablet affects you. Vigora Force Tablet may cause a drop in your blood pressure, so to prevent fainting, it is advised to get up slowly if you have been sitting or lying down. Inform your doctor if the erection persists for more than four hours after sexual intercourse. Avoid Vigora Force Tablet if you have had a heart attack or stroke in the past six months. Keep Vigora Force Tablet out of reach of children and pets. Ensure that the unused medicine is disposed of properly.

How it works
Vigora Force Tablet contains Sildenafil and Dapoxetine. Sildenafil increases blood flow to the penis, thus enabling erection at the time of sexual stimulation. Dapoxetine increases the level of a chemical called serotonin to improve control over ejaculation and also prolong the time to ejaculation.
