Description
Vent 250 mg Inhaler is a bronchodilator medicine that is used to relieve the symptoms of bronchospasm such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulties, coughing, etc., in patients with reversible obstructive airway disease. It also helps to prevent exercise-induced bronchospasm (constriction of the airways of the lungs).

Hypokalemia

The use of this medicine may cause a decrease in blood potassium levels and hence, it should be administered with caution in patients suffering from hypokalemia. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor on priority. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Paradoxical bronchospasm

The use of this medicine has been associated with worsening of asthma symptoms in some instances. Contact your doctor immediately if breathing becomes more difficult after using this medicine. It is advised to discontinue this medicine immediately in such cases.

Excessive use

This medicine is strictly recommended for use in the prescribed quantities only; excessive use may cause severe adverse effects and may prove fatal in extremely rare cases.
