Vanmycetin 1% 1% Opticops is an antibiotic. It is used in the treatment of bacterial conjunctivitis (an infection of the outer surface of the eye that causes redness, discomfort, and discharge from the affected eye). It works by killing the infection-causing bacteria. Vanmycetin 1% 1% Opticops may cause some side effects like burning sensation, irritation, and dryness of the eyes. Bone marrow suppression is a condition in which there is decreased production of blood cells in your bone marrow (a spongy substance present at the centre of your bones).
