Description

Urief 4 mg Tablet is an antiadrenergic agent used to treat the signs and symptoms of benign prostatic hyperplasia (prostate enlargement). This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from severe kidney function or liver function impairment.

General warnings

Hepatic impairment

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with mild to moderate liver function impairment due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of liver function tests, appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Elderly patients

This medicine should be used with caution in the elderly patients due to the increased risk of a very low blood pressure. Regular monitoring of blood pressure levels is necessary for these patients. Report any unusual symptoms such as dizziness, lightheadedness, headache, etc. to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition of the patient.

Cataract surgery

Use of this medicine increases the risk of intraoperative floppy iris syndrome. Patients undergoing cataract surgery should inform the surgeon about the current or previous use of this medicine, so that the surgeon can make appropriate changes in the surgical technique to reduce the risk of intraoperative floppy iris syndrome.

Driving or Operating machinery

Use of this medicine may cause symptoms such as blurred vision, dizziness, etc. in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose

The missed dose should be taken as soon as possible. It is advisable to skip the missed dose if it is already time for your next scheduled dose. Do not use extra medicine to make up for the missed dose.
