Description

Unogel 1 % Gel is a Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drug used to treat pain associated with conditions like Gout, Migraine, Rheumatoid Arthritis, sprains of muscles and joints etc. In some cases, it is also used to treat mild to moderate fever.

Contraindications of Unogel 1 % Gel

  • Allergy

    Unogel 1 % Gel is not recommended if you have a known history of allergy to medicines belonging to NSAIDs. Severe allergic conditions like Asthma and Urticaria can be triggered in such cases.
  • Peptic Ulcer

    Unogel 1 % Gel is not recommended if you have peptic ulcer or are suspected of having it. It could cause severe swelling and bleeding in the stomach, colon and anus.
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG)

    Unogel 1 % Gel is not recommended for relieving pain after you have undergone CABG.

Dosage

    The missed dose can be taken as soon as you remember. However, the missed dose should be skipped if it is almost time for the next dose.
  • Overdose

    A doctor should be contacted immediately if an overdose of Unogel 1 % Gel is suspected. Signs and symptoms of overdose include rashes on the skin, confusion, pain in the chest, blurred vision etc. Immediate medical attention is needed if an overdose is confirmed.
