Univestin

Description

Univestin is a blend of extracts of Scutellaria baicalensis and Acacia catechu. It is used to treat pain, stiffness, or discomfort in the joints. It is also used in the treatment of osteoarthritis (wearing and tearing of tissues in the joints). It works by inhibiting the action of chemicals in the body that cause swelling, joint discomfort, or rigidity. Thus it helps alleviate pain and stiffness, enhance flexibility, and support mobility. Univestin shows common side effects such as nausea, stomach upset, and abdominal pain. These side effects usually subside with time. However, if they persist or worsen, consult your doctor for further assistance. Univestin may be taken with or without food. Take the tablet exactly as recommended by your doctor. Do not chew, crush, or break the tablet. Swallow it as a whole with a glass of water. Avoid taking more than the recommended dose. Take it for the recommended duration for best results. Univestin is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor about all the medicines (allopathic and herbal) that you take and about any medical condition you have to make sure this medicine is safe for you. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine due to the lack of safety information. It is not recommended in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.
