Description
Unifen MR Tablet is a painkiller medicine that consists of Diclofenac, Paracetamol, and Methocarbamol. It provides relief from muscle pain, back pain, neck pain, sprains/strains, pain due to muscle injury, etc. This medicine works by relaxing your muscles and preventing muscle contractions. It also prevents the release of a chemical substance that causes pain and swelling in your body. Unifen MR Tablet can cause side effects such as nausea, vomiting, heartburn, stomach pain, diarrhoea, and sleepiness. These effects are mild and subside by themselves. However, contact your doctor if they last for a long time or if they become severe. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after taking this medicine as it may cause dizziness. Unifen MR Tablet should be taken with food to avoid stomach irritation. Your doctor will determine the dose and duration of treatment depending on the severity of your health condition. For ease of remembering and better results, take it at around the same time every day. Avoid taking it for a longer duration than prescribed by your doctor, as it may lead to undesired effects. Unifen MR Tablet is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or heart problems or a history of stomach ulcers before starting treatment with this medicine. Unifen MR Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 12 years of age due to the lack of safety and efficacy data. Coronary artery bypass graft (CABG) is a surgical procedure that diverts the blood from narrowed or blocked vessels in the heart to improve its blood supply. Unifen MR Tablet is not recommended for use before, during, or after a coronary artery bypass graft surgery as it may cause heart failure.

NSAID-induced asthma

Non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs) are medicines used to treat pain and swelling. NSAID-induced asthma is an allergic condition of the respiratory system that may occur after you take an NSAID. These medicines may narrow the airway and provoke mucous secretion in the airway, causing severe breathing difficulty. Unifen MR Tablet is not recommended for use in this condition.
