Description
Ultravex S6 Ointment is a topical medicine composed of Ulobetasol and Salicylic Acid. It is used to treat psoriasis (a skin condition that causes red, itchy scaly patches, most commonly on the knees, elbows, trunk, and scalp). This medicine works by reducing the production of chemical substances that cause swelling and itching. Ultravex S6 Ointment can cause side effects like exfoliation of skin (removal of dead skin), redness, and irritation at the site of application. Most of these side effects are temporary and resolve on their own. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Ultravex S6 Ointment is for external use only. Apply this medicine to the affected area as directed by your doctor. Do not stop using this medicine without consulting your doctor, as your symptoms may reoccur or worsen. Ocular Toxicities

Rarely, Ultravex S6 Ointment may increase the intraocular pressure (pressure inside the eyes) and cause glaucoma (a condition where the pressure within the eyeballs is abnormally high that can damage the optic nerve and lead to loss of vision).
