Ulobetasol may alter the blood glucose levels in patients with diabetes. This interaction is based on the amount applied, the concentration of the medicine, and the size of the application area. Close monitoring of blood glucose levels is necessary for such patients during treatment with this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.
Diaper rash
This medicine should not be applied on diaper rashes since the risks of systemic absorption and associated complications are significantly high.
Hyperadrenocorticism
Since the risk of adverse effects is significantly high, this medicine should be used with caution in people having a high level of adrenal hormones in the body and patients diagnosed with Cushing's syndrome.
