Description
Tuspel PX Syrup is a combination of Salbutamol, Bromhexine, Guaifenesin, and Menthol. It is used in the treatment of cough associated with bronchospasm (narrowing of the airways). It works by thinning the mucous and also relieves breathing difficulty by relaxing your airways. It also provides a cooling sensation and reduces irritation in your throat. Tuspel PX Syrup shows some common side effects like headache, dizziness, stomach upset, nausea, muscle cramps, etc. These symptoms may subside by themselves but consult your doctor if they bother you. This medicine may cause dizziness or sleepiness, so avoid doing any activities that require mental focus like driving and operating machines. Tuspel PX Syrup can be taken with or without food as directed by your doctor. Take it every day at the same time as prescribed by your doctor. The dose and duration depend on the severity of your health condition. Avoid discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor. Tuspel PX Syrup is not recommended if you are allergic to it. It is also not recommended for use in children less than 12 years of age unless prescribed by your doctor. Inform your doctor if you have kidney, liver, or heart problems, or if you have diabetes. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

How it works
Tuspel PX Syrup is a combination of Salbutamol, Bromhexine, Guaifenesin, and Menthol. Salbutamol works by relaxing the airways leading to your lungs. It improves the amount of airflow to the lungs and makes breathing easier. Bromhexine and Guaifenesin works by thinning the mucous. This makes it easier to cough up the mucus and clear the airways. Menthol provides a cooling sensation and provides relief from symptoms such as sore throat, throat irritation, or cough.
