Description
Trazine-S Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used for the treatment of Schizophrenia, Parkinson's disease, Anxiety, and extrapyramidal symptoms caused by other medicines. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age.

General warnings

Seizures

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients suffering from seizure disorder due to the increased risk of recurrent seizures. Report any unusual symptoms to the doctor immediately. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Use in Children

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established.

Driving or Operating machinery

Use of this medicine may cause symptoms such as dizziness, blurred vision, confusion, drowsiness, etc. in some patients. It is advised that you do not perform any activities that require high mental alertness such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Dementia

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from dementia due to the increased risk of serious adverse effects including death. This risk is especially higher in the elderly patients. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition.

Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome

This medicine may cause Neuroleptic Malignant Syndrome (NMS) in patients who discontinued the treatment or reduced the daily recommended dose. Any symptoms of fever, muscle rigidity, altered mental status should be informed to the doctor.

Tardive dyskinesia

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with tardive dyskinesia which is an involuntary movement of the tongue, lips, and face unless the patient has concomitant Parkinson's disease due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required in some cases based on the clinical condition

Infectious Diarrhea

This medicine decreases the elimination of bacteria that cause diarrhea, therefore, not recommended in patients with infectious diarrhea. Inform the doctor if you are having severe diarrhea or received antibiotics before receiving this medicine.

Hypertension

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with hypertension due to the increased risk of high blood pressure. Regular monitoring of blood pressure is necessary while receiving these medicines. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

Withdrawal effect

Do not stop taking this medicine without informing the doctor as it may worsen the disease. Gradual dose reduction should be made, and close monitoring of symptoms is necessary.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost the time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed dose.
