Description

Tranostat 500 MG Tablet belongs to the class antifibrinolytics which is used to treat menstrual disorders where excessive bleeding occurs. This medicine may also be used to stop or reduce the bleeding associated with epistaxis (nose bleeds), surgery, or trauma cases.

Allergy

Subarachnoid hemorrhage

This medicine is not recommended for use in people who have hemorrhage in the area between the brain and its outer covering.

Acquired defective color vision

This medicine is not recommended for use in people having a defective color vision as it could make toxicity determination very difficult.

General warnings

Use of hormonal contraceptives

This medicine is not recommended for use in women who are using hormonal contraceptives (pills, patches, vaginal rings, or injections) as the risk of adverse effects are significantly high.

Clotting disorders

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a history of clotting disorders or have an active disorder. Patients who are exposed to risk factors and are likely to develop these disorders should not be given this medicine.

Eye disorders

This medicine is not recommended for use if you have a history of any disease where the blood vessels of the eye are obstructed due to clot formation.
