Description

Trajenta Duo 2.5 mg/ 1000 mg Tablet is a combination medicine used for the treatment of type 2 diabetes mellitus. Patients are advised to maintain a strict exercise and diet regimen along with this medicine to get the best possible effect. This medicine is not recommended for use in patients below 18 years of age.

How it works
Metformin decreases absorption of glucose from the intestines and increases the action of insulin in the body. Linagliptin increases insulin and lowers glucagon production. The combination is thus better effective than monotherapy in lowering the blood glucose levels.
