Description
Tormid 10 MG Tablet is a diuretic medicine (water pill) that helps to remove excess water and sodium from the body through urine. It is used alone or in combination with other medicines for the treatment of high blood pressure. It is also used to treat excess fluid build-up in the body tissues, mostly in the feet, ankles, and legs, due to various conditions such as heart, liver, or kidney disease. Tormid 10 MG Tablet shows side effects like electrolyte imbalance, headache, dehydration, frequent urination, dry mouth, nausea, vomiting, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen. It may also cause dizziness or vision disturbance in some cases. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy or your vision is not clear after taking this medicine. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Tormid 10 MG Tablet may be taken with or without food. Your doctor may determine the dose and duration of treatment based on your clinical condition. Take it around the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Continue taking this medication even if you feel well. If you stop taking it without consulting your doctor, your condition may worsen. Tormid 10 MG Tablet is not recommended for use if you have anuria (a condition where the kidney is unable to produce urine). This medicine should be used with caution if you have liver or kidney problems or electrolyte imbalance (abnormal concentration of electrolytes in the body). Allergy

General warnings

Severe liver injury with cirrhosis and ascites

Tormid 10 MG Tablet should be used with extreme caution under strict medical supervision if you have liver problems such as cirrhosis (scarring of liver tissues causing permanent damage) and ascites (too much fluid accumulation in the stomach area). This medicine may further worsen your condition if you have such liver problems.

Volume depletion and electrolyte imbalance

Tormid 10 MG Tablet may alter the blood volume and electrolyte levels in the body. The risk may be higher if you have kidney problems. Consult your doctor immediately if you experience symptoms such as dryness of your mouth, increased thirst, weakness, lethargy, muscle cramps, drowsiness, low blood pressure, etc. Your doctor may recommend tests to monitor your kidney function and electrolyte levels during treatment with this medicine.

Use in Children

Tormid 10 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age as the safety and efficacy data are not clinically established.

Driving or operating machines

Tormid 10 MG Tablet may cause dizziness or vision disturbances in some cases. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you feel dizzy or your vision is not clear after taking this medicine.

Missed Dose

Try not to skip a dose of Tormid 10 MG Tablet. Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double your dose to compensate for a missed one.
