Manufactured byTorrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd.
ContainsRamipril
Description
Topril 2.5 Capsule contains Ramipril which is used to treat hypertension (high blood pressure) and certain other heart conditions. It may also be used to prevent and reduce the risk of a heart attack. This medicine works by relaxing the blood vessels and promotes a smooth flow of the blood. Topril 2.5 Capsule has some side effects like headache, cough, diarrhoea, stomach pain and nausea. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines and rise slowly from a sitting or lying down position if you feel dizzy while on treatment with Topril 2.5 Capsule. Let your doctor know about any cough or throat irritation that does not go away. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Topril 2.5 Capsule intake should not be stopped suddenly as it can cause your blood pressure to rise, thereby increasing the risk of heart attack and stroke (decreased blood flow to your brain). This is a widely used medicine and is considered safe for long-term use. Topril 2.5 Capsule is considered to be safe when your entire medical history is shared with your doctor. Also, inform your doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding before taking Topril 2.5 Capsule.
