Description
Tiova Rotacaps is a medicine containing Tiotropium. It is used for the maintenance treatment of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (a group of lung conditions that cause blockage of airflow resulting in breathing difficulty). Tiova Rotacaps works by relaxing and widening the muscles in your airways. This helps to relieve symptoms such as wheezing, shortness of breath, chest tightness, breathing difficulty, coughing, etc. Tiova Rotacaps may cause some side effects like dry mouth, sore throat, cough, hoarse voice, and dizziness. Inform your doctor if these side effects persist or become severe. Avoid using this medicine if you are allergic to it. Tiova Rotacaps is a prescription medicine. Your doctor will determine the dose and duration of treatment based on your condition. Use Tiova Rotacaps around the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Even if you see an improvement in your condition, do not stop using it. If you discontinue this medicine early, your symptoms may recur or worsen. This medicine is for inhalation purposes. Hence, do not swallow it. Tiova Rotacaps is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age. Inform your doctor if you have liver, kidney, or heart problems. Also, inform about all your current medications before starting the treatment with this medicine to avoid undesired effects.
