Description
Ticocin-200 Injection is an antibiotic medicine. It is used to treat severe bacterial infections of skin & soft tissues, blood, heart, bones and lung infections. The medication helps kill bacteria by preventing them from forming the protective covering needed for them to survive. Ticocin-200 Injection shows some common side effects such as nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, rash, fever, and injection site reactions (pain, swelling, redness). Inform your doctor if you experience side effects that persist or worsen while taking the medication. Ticocin-200 Injection is usually administered by a healthcare professional. It is given as an intravenous infusion (drip) or an injection into the vein or a muscle. The dose of Ticocin-200 Injection can vary depending upon your condition and severity of the infection. It is recommended to complete the course of medicine even if you feel better to prevent re-infection. Ticocin-200 Injection is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Kidney impairment

Ticocin-200 Injection should be used with caution if you kidney problem as the medicine is filtered by the kidney and moved out of the body through urine. People with kidney problems need special consideration while taking Ticocin-200 Injection due to the risk of kidney damage.

Antibiotic resistance

Finish your entire course of treatment with Ticocin-200 Injection, even if the condition gets better to avoid antibiotic resistance (the bacteria may become resistant to antibiotics). If you still feel unwell after completing your antibiotic course, make an appointment to consult your doctor.
