Tavegyl 0.5 mg Syrup is an antihistamine medicine, used to treat allergic symptoms associated with rhinitis and urticaria. The symptoms may include sneezing, runny nose, skin itching, etc. It is also used for the treatment of angioedema. This medicine is not recommended for use in neonates.

General warnings

Anticholinergic effects

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with conditions like urinary retention, or urinary obstruction due to the increased risk of anticholinergic effects that can worsen the existing condition. Prostatic hypertrophy,

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with a history of prostatic hypertrophy due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Stenosing peptic ulcer disease

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with a history of stenosing peptic ulcer disease due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Narrow angle glaucoma
