Description

T Bact 2 % Cream is an antibiotic which is used to treat bacterial infections such as impetigo, folliculitis, and methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) infections. It is not effective against viral and fungal infections.

General warnings

Eye irritation

Ensure that the medicine does not come in contact with your eyes. This medicine may cause severe eye irritation. In the case of accidental contact, the eyes should be rinsed with water immediately and thoroughly.

Clostridium difficile associated diarrhea

Antibiotic therapy will cause an imbalance in the normal microbial flora of the large intestine, which may promote the growth of a bacteria called Clostridium difficile. You may experience severe diarrhea as a result. Report any such incidence to the doctor on priority and avoid usage of T Bact 2 % Cream in such cases.

Allergic reactions

Seek immediate medical attention if you experience any allergic symptoms like rash, itching, nausea or vomiting, swelling of lips, hands, and feet. Therapy with this medicine should be discontinued immediately if you suffer from an allergic reaction.

Local irritation

This medicine may cause severe local irritation. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be done under your doctor's supervision.

Missed Dose

Apply the missed dose as soon as you remember it. If it is almost time for the next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not apply extra cream or ointment to make up for the missed one.

Seek emergency medical treatment or contact the doctor in case of an overdose.
