Description
Synaptol SR 150 Tablet is a muscle relaxant medicine that contains Tolperisone as an active ingredient. It is used for the treatment of muscle spasms (involuntary or uncontrollable movements of your muscles). It is also used in general for the treatment of rigidity, stiffness in muscles. It improves muscle tone by improving blood flow to the muscles and blocking certain chemicals that signal pain thus, reduces stiffness and provides relief from pain. Synaptol SR 150 Tablet can cause some side effects like sweating, rash or redness on skin, drowsiness, dizziness, vomiting, nausea, dryness of mouth, stomach upset, gastritis and diarrhoea. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist or get worse. Synaptol SR 150 Tablet may cause dizziness or sleepiness, so avoid driving or doing any activity that requires your concentration and alertness. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Do not stop taking it without consulting your doctor even if you feel better after taking few doses as it can lead to the condition returning with more severity. Synaptol SR 150 Tablet should be taken with food to reduce the chances of getting stomach upset, indigestion etc. Take it as advised by the doctor. Inform your doctor if have liver or kidney problems before prescribing this medicine to you.
