How it works
Surtaderm Shampoo is a combination of Ketoconazole and Zinc pyrithione. Sertaconazole stops the production of ergosterol, which is a vital component in fungal cell walls. This results in the disruption of the cell membrane formation process and causes cell death. Zinc pyrithione interferes with protein processes essential for the growth of fungi. Thus, this medication treats fungal infections.
