Description
Supirocin-B Ointment is a combination of Betamethasone and Mupirocin. It is used to treat skin conditions associated with bacterial infections. It is not effective against viral and fungal infections. Supirocin-B Ointment may cause burning sensation, itching, redness, and dryness at the site of application. Consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Supirocin-B Ointment is meant for use on the skin only. Apply this medicine to the affected part of your skin as directed by your doctor. Continue using the medicine for the prescribed duration to reduce your risk of re-infection. Avoid contact with your eyes and mouth. Supirocin-B Ointment is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have any other skin conditions or using any other topical medicines before starting the treatment. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Supirocin-B Ointment is meant for external use only. Use it as directed by your doctor. Close the cover of the tube immediately after use to keep it clean and free from contamination. Do not wipe or rinse the tip of the tube. Use Supirocin-B Ointment at the same time every day for ease of remembrance. Ensure that you complete the course of the treatment as prescribed by your doctor to prevent re-infection. Avoid covering the application area with bandages or other dressings unless directed by your doctor. Never share Supirocin-B Ointment with others even if their condition appears to be the same as yours.
