SUNDE 60K SACHET contains Vitamin D3, which is essential for the proper growth and development of your body. It helps in the absorption of calcium and phosphates from your bowel, which keeps your bones and teeth healthy. It is given especially to the elderly and to those having a deficiency of Vitamin D3 due to familial or environmental reasons. SUNDE 60K SACHET can rarely cause side effects like constipation, confusion, nausea, vomiting, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. SUNDE 60K SACHET can be taken with or without food, as instructed by your doctor. For ease of remembering, take it at the same time every day. Your dose will depend on the severity of your condition. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting with your doctor. SUNDE 60K SACHET is not recommended if you have malabsorption syndrome (insufficient absorption of nutrients from the stomach), or high calcium or vitamin D3 levels in your body. Allergy

Nephrolithiasis

Nephrolithiasis is kidney stones. These are hard deposits of minerals and acid salts that stick together in concentrated urine. They can be painful when you pass urine but usually do not cause permanent damage. The most common symptom is severe pain, usually, in the side of the abdomen, that's often associated with nausea. SUNDE 60K SACHET causes an increase in calcium levels in your blood, which can further increase the risk of kidney stone deposition. Hence, it should be avoided if you have such a condition.

Nephrocalcinosis

Nephrocalcinosis is a condition in which there is too much calcium deposited in your kidney. It is common in premature babies. SUNDE 60K SACHET is not recommended if you have such a condition, as it increases the absorption of calcium level in your blood which can further increase the deposition in your kidney.

Hypervitaminosis D

SUNDE 60K SACHET is not recommended for use if you have abnormally high levels of Vitamin D3 in your body. Taking this medicine in such cases could lead to toxic accumulation in your body.

Hypercalcaemia

Hypercalcaemia is too much calcium in your blood. SUNDE 60K SACHET is not recommended if you have hypercalcaemia as it can increase the absorption of calcium in your blood. Thus it can worsen your condition.

Arrhythmia

Arrhythmia is an improper heartbeat, either too fast or too slow. SUNDE 60K SACHET can raise blood calcium concentrations and can aggravate arrhythmias, especially if you are on cardiac glycosides (medicines used for treating heart failure). Hence SUNDE 60K SACHET should be used with caution if you have arrhythmias.

Take SUNDE 60K SACHET exactly as advised by your doctor. Follow all the instructions given in the package insert. Empty the contents of the packet into a glass of water. Stir and leave the mixture for a few minutes until it has thickened. Stir again and drink the mixture within 30 minutes of reconstitution. SUNDE 60K SACHET is prescribed for a long period. Therefore, do not stop taking this medicine even if you feel better after a few doses. Do not consume the medicine after the expiry date. Keep it away from children and pets.
