Sulbacin Tablet is a combination medicine which may be used to treat bacterial infections in lungs, heart, brain, genital areas, etc. caused by susceptible bacteria. It should be used with caution in patients with kidney diseases due to the increased risk of adverse effects.

How it works
Ampicillin interferes with the bacterial cell wall formation and stops the growth of bacteria. Sulbactam inhibits some chemicals produced by the bacteria and makes the bacteria more sensitive to ampicillin activity.
