Description
Starclop-AV 10 Capsule is a combination of Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel. It is used in the treatment of high blood cholesterol and triglycerides (fats) levels. Thus, it also helps to prevent the risk of heart attack and stroke (a condition that occurs due to reduced blood supply to the brain). This medicine works by preventing blood clot formation and reducing the production of unwanted fats in your body. Starclop-AV 10 Capsule has some side effects like dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, indigestion, etc. These side effects are mild and may subside by themselves. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a long time or become severe. This medicine acts as a blood thinner, thus it may increase the risk of bleeding. Starclop-AV 10 Capsule may be taken with or without food as instructed by your doctor. Take it every day at the same time for easy remembering and to avoid missing a dose. Avoid taking more than the prescribed dose as it may lead to side effects. Starclop-AV 10 Capsule is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Avoid taking this medicine if you have bleeding problems or liver problems. Inform your doctor if you have any other medical condition or taking any other medicine before starting the treatment. Allergy
