Description
Stablanz 8 Tablet is a combination of Betahistine and Ginkgo biloba. This medicine is used to treat vertigo (dizziness). Pressure in the ear causes a spinning sensation and a loss of body balance. This medicine improves blood flow and decreases pressure buildup in your ear. Stablanz 8 Tablet may cause some side effects like nausea, headaches, indigestion, constipation, etc. Inform your doctor if these side effects become severe or persist for a long period. Stablanz 8 Tablet can be taken with or without food. Take this medicine at the same time every day for ease of remembering and to avoid missing a dose. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course, even when you feel better. Stablanz 8 Tablet is advisable after informing your doctor about all your current medications and if you have any health conditions like liver, kidney or heart disease. Consult your doctor before taking this medicine if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Allergy

Pheochromocytoma

Pheochromocytoma is a tumour of the adrenal gland (an organ above your kidneys) which is often associated with symptoms such as high blood pressure, increased heartbeat, sweating, and headache. Stablanz 8 Tablet is not recommended if you are diagnosed with or have a history of pheochromocytoma. This medicine can worsen your condition.

Use in children

Gastrointestinal disorder

Stablanz 8 Tablet may increase the risk of stomach ulcers. Inform your doctor if you have a history of peptic ulcer disease or any gastrointestinal disease. Drink an adequate amount of water to prevent stomach irritation.

Asthma

Stablanz 8 Tablet should be used with caution if you have asthma as it may worsen your condition.

Missed Dose

If you forget to take Stablanz 8 Tablet, take it as soon as you remember. If it is time for the next dosage then skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

Overdose

Take Stablanz 8 Tablet exactly as prescribed by your doctor. Do not take in larger or smaller quantities than recommended. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor. Do not take it for more than 7 days unless advised by your doctor. Stablanz 8 Tablet can only reduce the number and intensity of vertigo attacks, but it may not be able to completely prevent them.
