General warnings

Drug discontinuation

Sudden withdrawal of this medicine is not recommended since it may cause myocardial infarction, life-threatening arrhythmias, or hypertension. The dosage of the medicine should be gradually reduced over 1 to 2 weeks and the patient should be closely monitored for any adverse effects.

Thyrotoxcosis

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a history of thyrotoxicosis due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Hypotension
