Description

Sodium Phosphate is used to correct the phosphate levels in patients with low phosphate levels in the body. It is also used to treat constipation and to clean the bowel for medical procedures.

Electrolytes imbalance

Sodium and water retention

This medicine can induce sodium and water retention and hence should be used with extreme caution in patients with hypernatremia (increased blood sodium levels) or fluid retention due to the risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of the clinical condition, appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative may be required based on the clinical condition.

Kidney impairment

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with kidney impairment due to the risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Close monitoring of kidney function is recommended while receiving this medicine. Appropriate dose adjustments or replacement with a suitable alternative might be required in some cases.

Stomach disorders

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with stomach disorders due to the risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Liver impairment
