ContainsChlorpheniramine (1 mg/ml) + Phenylephrine (2.5 mg/ml)
Description
Sinarest AF Drops is a combination of Chlorpheniramine and Phenylephrine. It is used in children to relieve symptoms caused by conditions such as the common cold, sinusitis (swelling of the sinus, hollow spaces in the facial bones around the nose), allergic rhinitis (swelling of the lining of the nose due to an allergy), etc. Sinarest AF Drops works by stopping the release of a chemical substance that causes allergic symptoms. It also reduces the swelling of the blood vessels in the nasal (nose) passages. Thus, it helps relieve symptoms of common cold and allergies such as runny nose, sneezing, cough, itching of the nose and throat, watery eyes, blocked or stuffy nose, etc. Sinarest AF Drops shows some common side effects such as headache, fatigue, loss of appetite, nausea, vomiting, sleepiness, etc. These side effects will subside on their own. Consult the doctor if these side effects bother your child for a long time or become severe. Sinarest AF Drops can be given with or without food, as instructed by the doctor. Avoid giving more than the recommended dose. Make sure your child takes this medicine for the recommended duration. Do not discontinue this medicine without consulting the doctor, as the symptoms could reoccur, and your child's condition may worsen. Sinarest AF Drops is not recommended for use if your child is allergic to it. Inform your doctor if your child is on any other medications or has pre-existing medical conditions. It will help the doctor adjust the dose of the medicine to avoid any undesired effects.
