Description
Siloxine Suspension is a combination of Magaldrate, Simethicone and Oxetacaine. It is used to relieve stomach problems like heartburn, acidity, indigestion and other stomach discomforts. It is also used to treat peptic ulcers (an open sore that occurs on the inner lining of your stomach and the upper region of your small intestine). Siloxine Suspension relieves symptoms like pain and stomach irritation associated with it. It works by neutralizing the acid produced by your stomach and by softly bursting the gas bubbles formed inside your digestive system. Siloxine Suspension can cause side effects like constipation, itching of skin, chills, chalky taste etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects are persistent. Avoid driving vehicles and/or operating machines while taking this medicine as it can make you dizzy. Siloxine Suspension is usually taken after a meal for better absorption of the medicine. Your dose will depend on your condition. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting a doctor as your symptoms may reoccur. Siloxine Suspension is not recommended if you are allergic to it or if you have severe kidney problems. Report all your existing health issues to your doctor as your dose can be adjusted accordingly. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking as they can interact with each other and cause side effects. How it works
Siloxine Suspension is composed of Magaldrate, Simethicone and Oxetacaine. Magaldrate combines with the acid produced in the stomach and neutralizes it. This, in turn, provides relief from symptoms such as heartburn, sour stomach, etc. Simethicone reduces excessive gas in the stomach and relieves symptoms such as stomach discomfort, abdominal pain, and flatulence. Oxetacaine inhibits the acid secretion in the stomach to reduce the pain and irritation associated with peptic ulcers and other problems of the stomach and intestines.
