Description
Sildenafil Citrate 50 MG Tablet contains Sildenafil which is also known as the blue pill. It is an effective medicine used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction (ED), which is also called impotence in men. Erectile dysfunction is a condition where a man is unable to achieve and/or maintain a penile erection adequate for sexual intercourse and it is strongly age-related. This is due to decreased blood flow that may be due to physical complications like an injury or disease or due to some psychological conditions such as anxiety, stress, depression, etc. Sildenafil Citrate 50 MG Tablet relaxes the blood vessels and helps in increasing the flow of blood to the penis. Some side effects of Sildenafil Citrate 50 MG Tablet include flushing (redness and feeling of warmth), headache, stomach upset, dizziness, blurred vision, etc. Usually, these side effects get resolved on their own. Consult your doctor if these side effects are worrying you. Take Sildenafil Citrate 50 MG Tablet with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. It is better if you take the tablet 30-60 minutes before having sex. However, you can also take it up to 4 hours prior to sex. You should also be sexually excited for this medicine to work. Avoid increasing your dose than prescribed for quick results. Sildenafil Citrate 50 MG Tablet is a male intended tablet only. Hence it is not for use in women and children. Sildenafil Citrate 50 MG Tablet is not recommended for patients with heart, kidney diseases, and a recent history of stroke or angina. Avoid or limit drinking alcohol during the treatment as it makes you feel sleepy or dizzy. Do not drive or operate a machinery and be aware of how this medicine will affect you.
