Sertaconazole

Description

Sertaconazole is a topical antifungal drug used in treating athlete's foot infection that occurs between the toes. It is used for adults and children of age 12 or above. It should not be used orally, intravaginally, rectally, on lips, or into the eyes.

Sertaconazole is for external use only. Do not use the drug for indications other than prescribed and do not share the medication. You are advised to rinse with cool water immediately if Sertaconazole gets into your eyes and nose. Do not use topical agents too often as it may worsen the situation. Consult the doctor prior to using another topical agent. Complete the full course of medication as prescribed by the doctor, even though the symptoms are resolved.
