Description
Rutoflam-P Tablet is a combination of Trypsin, Rutoside, Bromelain and Papain. It is taken to relieve pain and swelling associated with back pain, arthritis-related pain, sprain, strain, menstrual cramps, post-surgical pain, and headaches. Rutoflam-P Tablet also promotes the healing of wounds due to an injury. This medicine breaks down the proteins involved in swelling and pain and also protects your body from damage by chemicals that cause swelling. Rutoflam-P Tablet can cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, and mouth sores. Most of these side effects do not require medical attention and resolve over time. However, if any of these side effects persist or worsen, consult your doctor at the earliest. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines as this medicine can make you feel dizzy. Rutoflam-P Tablet can be taken with or without food as instructed by your doctor. Your dose will be decided based on your medical condition. Do not skip or double your dose than prescribed. Do not stop the medication on your own before consulting your doctor. Rutoflam-P Tablet is not prescribed if you are allergic to it. General warnings

Driving or operating machinery

Rutoflam-P Tablet may rarely cause dizziness, blurred vision, or drowsiness and hence do not perform any activities such as driving vehicles or operating machines if you experience any of these symptoms.

Stool color change

Rutoflam-P Tablet may change the colour and odour of your stools. This is a normal sign and usually not concerning. Consult your doctor if it is worsening or bothering you.

Allergy

Rutoflam-P Tablet is taken with caution if you are allergic to pineapple, latex, wheat, celery, carrot, fennel, cypress pollen, or grass pollen as it may cause an allergic reaction.

Bleeding

Rutoflam-P Tablet should be taken with caution if you are having or have undergone surgery as it may increase the risk of bleeding during and after surgery. Your doctor may advise you to discontinue this medicine at least two weeks before surgery to avoid bleeding disorders.

Missed Dose

In case the scheduled dose of Rutoflam-P Tablet is missed, make sure that you remember to take your next dose when it is due. Do not take two doses together to make up for a missed dose.

Overdose

Take Rutoflam-P Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Do not crush, break or chew the tablet in your mouth. Rutoflam-P Tablet is prescribed for a short period, hence it is recommended you complete the whole treatment for maximum benefits. Do not give your medicine to other people even if their condition appears to be the same as yours. Avoid driving vehicles or doing anything that requires concentration as it may cause dizziness and blurred vision. Be careful while standing up from a lying or sitting position to avoid feeling dizzy. It may change the colour, consistency, and odour of your stool, which is harmless. Inform your doctor if this bothers you.
