Asthma

Altered blood sugar levels

Myopathy and Rhabdomyolysis

This medicine may increase the risk of myopathy and rhabdomyolysis which is a muscular disease. This risk is especially higher in patients with a history of liver diseases and elderly patients. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered, especially for such patients, based on the clinical condition.

Alcohol consumption

This medicine should be used with caution in patients who consume large quantities of alcohol due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Use in pediatrics

Since the safety and efficacy of use are not clinically established, this medicine may be used in patients below 18 years of age only under the close supervision of the doctor.

Cognitive impairment

How it works
Rosuvastatin reduces the production of cholesterol from the liver and reduces the levels of VLDL and LDL in blood. Aspirin prevents abnormal blood clotting and also relieves inflammation and swelling. Their combination is thus helpful in controlling dyslipidemia and reducing the risk of a heart attack or stroke.
