Description
Rosufit CV 10 Capsule is a combination of Rosuvastatin and Clopidogrel. It is used orally to reduce the level of bad cholesterol and fats in your body. High levels of cholesterols and fats increase the risk of heart attack and stroke. This medicine works by reducing the formation of cholesterols and fats in your body and decreasing the formation of harmful blood clots. Rosufit CV 10 Capsule shows common side effects like stomach pain, indigestion, constipation and headache. Consult your doctor if the side effects persist or worsen. This medicine increases the risk of bleeding in the body, so be careful while using sharp objects or doing any work that has a risk of causing damage to the skin. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Rosufit CV 10 Capsule may rarely cause serious side effects. While on treatment with this medication, notify your doctor if you are more tired than usual, do not feel hungry, or if you have yellow eyes or skin. Consult your doctor at the earliest if you experience muscle pain or weakness, particularly if it is accompanied by fever. Rosufit CV 10 Capsule can be taken with or without food. The dose and duration of treatment will depend on what you are being treated for. Take this medicine at the same time every day for ease of remembering and to avoid missing the dose. Do not stop taking it until you have finished the complete course of treatment, even when you feel better. Rosufit CV 10 Capsule can interact with other medications and health conditions. Share your entire medical history of kidney/liver problems, bleeding disorder etc. with your doctor. You should also let your doctor know about all other medicines you are taking as they may affect Rosufit CV 10 Capsule. Inform the doctor if you are pregnant, planning a pregnancy or are breastfeeding.

Allergy

General warnings

Cognitive impairment

Rosufit CV 10 Capsule may cause forgetfulness, memory loss, confusion, etc. in some people. These side effects are reversible and usually disappear once the medicine is discontinued.

Myopathy and Rhabdomyolysis

Rosufit CV 10 Capsule may cause myopathy (muscle pain) and rhabdomyolysis (a very serious condition in which damaged muscle fibres enter the bloodstream, leading to kidney failure) in some people, a condition that can be harmful. This may cause symptoms such as severe tiredness and weakness. This risk is especially higher in the elderly and in people with active muscle disorders.

Alcohol consumption

Rosufit CV 10 Capsule may cause liver and kidney injuries in people consuming alcohol very frequently and in large quantities. Hence, consumption of alcohol should be avoided during treatment with this medicine.

Discontinuation of Clopidogrel

Stopping the use of Rosufit CV 10 Capsule suddenly may increase the risk of heart problems. If treatment is interrupted in conditions like surgery or bleeding, it should be restarted as soon as possible.

Use in pediatrics

Since the safety and efficacy of Rosufit CV 10 Capsule use are not clinically established, this medicine may be used in children below 18 years of age only under the close supervision of the doctor. This medicine is not recommended for use in children below six years of age.

Missed Dose

If you forget to take a Rosufit CV 10 Capsule dose, make sure that you remember to take your next dose on time. Do not take two doses together to make up for a forgotten dose.

Overdose
