General warnings

Type 1 Diabetes mellitus

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known history of type 1 diabetes mellitus since Roglin 2 mg Tablet shows its hypoglycemic activity only in the presence of insulin.

Edema

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with edema due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Hypoglycemic agents

This medicine should be used with caution in patients taking other hypoglycemic agents due to the increased risk of very low blood glucose levels. Close monitoring of blood glucose levels and appropriate dose adjustments may be required based on the clinical condition.

Ovulation

This medicine should be used with caution in premenopausal patients due to the increase in chances of ovulation. Adequate contraceptive measures are recommended for such patients to avoid an unplanned pregnancy.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

Liver Disease

This medicine should be used with extreme caution in patients with an impairment of the liver function due to the increased risk of severe adverse effects. Liver function should be assessed before initiating treatment with this medicine. Any symptoms such as nausea, vomiting, stomach pain, dark colored urine, etc. should be reported immediately to the doctor. Replacement with a suitable alternative should be considered under your doctor's supervision.
