Description
Rking 20 MG Tablet is an anti-ulcer medicine that contains Rabeprazole. It is used to treat acid-related conditions of the stomach and intestine such as acid reflux, peptic ulcers, and some other stomach conditions associated with excessive acid production. It works by reducing the amount of acid produced in your stomach. Rking 20 MG Tablet may cause side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache, stomach pain, diarrhoea, and dizziness. These symptoms are mild and resolve with time. Inform your doctor if any of these side effects persist for a long time or bother you. The chance of side effects may increase if you use this medication for a longer period (more than one year). Do not use this medicine if you are allergic to it. Avoid performing activities like driving vehicles or operating machines after taking this medicine. Rking 20 MG Tablet is a prescription medicine. Take this medicine 30 minutes before breakfast. The dose of medicine will be determined by your doctor based on your condition. Take it at the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor. Rking 20 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in children under the age of 12 years. Before taking this medicine, Inform your doctor if you have a history of osteoporosis (a condition with weak and brittle bones) or pre-existing liver problems. Also, inform your doctor of all the medicines that you may be taking as this information is critical for planning your overall treatment. This medicine is not recommended for use if you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

General warnings

Lupus erythematosus

Lupus erythematosus is an auto-immune condition (your immune system malfunctions and attacks its own healthy tissues) that causes rashes or sores on the sun-exposed areas of your skin. Rking 20 MG Tablet may increase the risk of Lupus erythematosus. Inform your doctor if you experience any skin rash/sore while on treatment with this medicine.

Hypomagnesaemia

Prolonged use of Rking 20 MG Tablet may increase the risk of hypomagnesaemia (low blood magnesium levels). Inform your doctor if you experience any symptoms of numbness/tingling in your hands/feet, muscle cramps, seizures (fits), irregular heartbeat, etc.

Vitamin B12 deficiency

Long-term treatment with Rking 20 MG Tablet may decrease the absorption of vitamin B12 in your body. This may cause vitamin B12 deficiency. Your vitamin B12 levels need to be monitored while on treatment with this medicine.

Driving vehicles or operating machines

Rking 20 MG Tablet may cause dizziness. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines if you experience any symptoms that may affect your mental alertness after taking this medicine.

Other medicines

Rking 20 MG Tablet may interact with other medicines and cause undesirable effects. Hence, inform your doctor about your current medicines including any herbs and supplements before beginning treatment with this medicine.

Missed Dose

Do not skip any dose of Rking 20 MG Tablet. If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember (make sure that you are on empty stomach). If it is almost time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double your dose to compensate for the missed one.

Rking 20 MG Tablet is broken down and absorbed in your liver. This medicine should be used with caution if you have pre-existing liver problems as it may lead to its accumulation and cause serious side effects. Your doctor may suggest tests for monitoring your liver functioning while you are on treatment with this medicine. Also, the dose of this medicine may be adjusted by your doctor based on your condition.

Osteoporosis

Osteoporosis is a condition in which your bones become weak and brittle. It also increases your risk of bone fractures. Rking 20 MG Tablet when taken in high doses for a prolonged period (a year or longer) may increase the risk of bone fractures (hip, wrist, or spine). Take calcium supplements or increase the intake of calcium in your diet to avoid bone thinning. Using Vitamin D supplements along with Rking 20 MG Tablet can help increase calcium absorption in your body.

Colitis

The use of Rking 20 MG Tablet may result in diarrhoea (loose stools). If you have gastrointestinal (digestive tract) disorders, especially colitis (swelling of the inner lining of the colon), use this medicine with extreme caution as it may further increase the risk of diarrhoea.

Rking 20 MG Tablet is used for reducing stomach acid production. This medicine makes you feel better in 2-3 days and gives complete relief in 4-5 weeks. Take Rking 20 MG Tablet as prescribed by your doctor. Avoid spicy and fatty foods, alcohol, and caffeinated drinks or beverages such as coffee, tea and cola while using Rking 20 MG Tablet, for better results. Eat a healthy and balanced diet. Always try to finish your dinner three hours before heading to bed. Inform your doctor if you do not feel better even after 14 days of treatment. If you experience reduced urine output, oedema (swelling caused by fluid retention), lower back discomfort, nausea, tiredness, and a rash or fever while taking this medicine, contact your doctor immediately. These symptoms might indicate kidney disease. Keep the medicine away from the reach of children and pets. Ensure that unused medicine is disposed of properly.
