Description
Rivamer 6 mg Capsule is a prescription medicine used to treat mild-to-moderate dementia (an impaired ability to remember, think, or make decisions) associated with Alzheimer's disease (a progressive neurological condition that causes the brain cells to die, leading to memory loss and cognitive decline) and Parkinson's disease (a progressive nervous system disorder that affects movement). Rivamer 6 mg Capsule does not cure Parkinson's disease or Alzheimer's disease, but it may slow the cognitive decline and improve the ability to perform daily activities and the ability to think and remember. This medicine works by restoring the chemical balance in the brain required for its proper functioning. Rivamer 6 mg Capsule can cause side effects like headache, upset stomach, nausea, vomiting, loss of appetite, weakness, diarrhoea, etc. Consult your doctor if these side effects persist or worsen. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines as this medicine can make you dizzy or drowsy. Rivamer 6 mg Capsule should be taken with food to avoid stomach irritation. The dose and duration of treatment will be determined by your doctor based on the severity of your condition. Take Rivamer 6 mg Capsule at the same time every day to maintain a constant level of this medicine in your body. Do not stop taking this medicine without consulting your doctor, as your symptoms may become worse. Rivamer 6 mg Capsule is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor about your current medications and existing medical conditions. This will help your doctor adjust the dose to avoid side effects. If you are pregnant or are breastfeeding, consult your doctor before taking this medicine.
