Description
Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet is an anti-allergic medicine. It is used to treat common allergy symptoms such as sneezing, runny nose, itchy throat, itchy/watery eyes, and skin rash. It works by blocking the action of a chemical substance that causes allergic symptoms and provides relief from allergies. Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet may cause some side effects such as sleepiness, diarrhoea, nausea, dry mouth, dizziness, headache, etc. Consult your doctor if these symptoms stay for a long time or if they become severe. Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet can be taken with or without food. Finish your entire course of treatment with this medicine, even if the condition gets better after taking a few doses as abrupt stopping may recur the symptoms. If you still feel unwell even after completing your treatment course, inform your doctor. Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet is not recommended in children below 6 years of age. This medicine may interact with other medications. Inform your doctor about all the medicines you are taking and also about any medical condition that you have. Avoid taking this medicine if you are allergic to it. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or breastfeeding before taking this medicine.

Allergy

Avoid taking Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet if you are previously allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any worsening of your allergic symptoms such as skin rash, redness and/or itching, sneezing, breathing difficulties, etc after taking this medicine.

Severe kidney impairment

Do not use Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet if you have severe kidney problems as an impaired kidney can not clear this medicine completely and lead to its accumulation. It may cause serious side effects.

Pregnancy

Due to the lack of sufficient safety data in pregnant women, the risk to the developing foetus is not known. If you are pregnant, use Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet only if prescribed by your doctor.

Breast-feeding

Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet passes into breastmilk. A high dose or prolonged use of this medicine may cause drowsiness and other effects on your baby. If you are breastfeeding, consult your doctor.
General warnings

Other Medicines

Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet may increase your risk of sleepiness and impaired thinking when taken with medicines that have a sedative effect. Inform your doctor about all your current medicines including any herbs or supplements before taking this medicine.

Elderly

Use Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet with caution in the elderly population due to the increased risk of side effects. Your doctor may suggest close monitoring along with appropriate dose adjustments, or replacement with a suitable alternative based on the clinical condition.

Use in children

Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet is not recommended for use in children less than 6 years of age due to a lack of safety and efficacy data.

Driving or operating machines

Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid performing any activities that require high mental alertness like driving vehicles or operating machines if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Urinary retention

Urinary retention is a condition in which you cannot empty your bladder completely when you urinate. Use Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet with caution if you have such conditions as this medicine may increase the risk of urinary retention.

Missed Dose

Try not to skip a dose of Rinitrin 10 MG Tablet. Take the missed dose as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next dose, skip the missed one. Do not double the dose to compensate for a missed one.
