Description

Revibra 200 mg Capsule is used to relieve pain and inflammation in conditions like Arthritis, Dysmenorrhea. Drink adequate amount of water to minimize the stomach irritation. Close monitoring of liver function is necessary while receiving this medicine.

Contraindications of Revibra 200 mg Capsule

  • Allergy

    Not recommended in patients with known allergy to Revibra 200 mg Capsule or other non-steroidal anti-inflammatory (NSAID) drugs.
  • Asthma

    Not recommended in patients with a history of NSAID-induced asthma, rhinitis and urticaria.
  • Coronary Artery Bypass Surgery (CABG)

    Not recommended in patients with recent heart surgery.

General warnings

  • Effect on heart

    - Revibra 200 mg Capsule can have adverse effects on the heart, especially after a prolonged duration of use. It could increase the risk of diseases like stroke and heart attack which may be fatal.
  • Gastro-intestinal bleeding

    - This medicine may cause severe bleeding when taken for a long time. Elderly population with a history of gastrointestinal diseases are at a higher risk. Any symptoms of blood in stools and vomiting should be informed to the doctor.
  • Impaired kidney function

    - This medicine is known to cause kidney injury. Close monitoring of kidney function is necessary. The dose should be adjusted based on the CrCl (Creatinine Clearance). This medicine is not recommended in patients with severe kidney disease.
  • Impaired liver function

    - This medicine should be used with caution in patients with liver injury. In patients with moderate liver injury, the dose should be reduced by 50%. This medicine is not recommended in patients with severe liver disease.
