Description
Respifresh TR Syrup is a combination of Guaifenesin, Terbutaline, Bromhexine, and Menthol. It is used to treat cough associated with narrowing or blockage of air pathways of the lungs due to mucus. This medicine makes the mucus thin and helps in coughing it out. It also provides a cooling sensation and relieves minor throat irritation. Respifresh TR Syrup shows some common side effects like nausea, vomiting, diarrhoea, indigestion, and stomach pain. However, if any of these side effects do not resolve with time or worsen, seek a doctor's consultation at the earliest. Respifresh TR Syrup may cause dizziness or drowsiness. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines while using this medicine. Moreover, alcohol consumption should be avoided as it may increase the risk of drowsiness or dizziness. Respifresh TR Syrup can be taken with food to avoid any stomach discomfort. Your doctor will decide the dose and duration of this medicine based on the severity of your medical condition. How it works
Respifresh TR Syrup is a combination of Guaifenesin, Terbutaline, Bromhexine and menthol. Guaifenesin works by reducing the thickness of mucus in the air passages. This makes it easier to cough out the mucus and clear the airways. Terbutaline works by relaxing and opening the blocked air passages leading to the lungs. Bromhexine works by thinning the mucus in the airway and promoting mucus clearance. Menthol causes a feeling of coolness and also reduces itching and pain.
