Description
Renicol 0.5% Eye Drops is an antibiotic. It is used to treat bacterial eye infections affecting the cornea (a transparent layer that covers the front part of your eye) and/or conjunctiva (the clear membrane that covers the white part of the eye and inner surface of the eyelids). It stops the growth and multiplication of bacteria that cause infection. Renicol 0.5% Eye Drops may cause side effects like irritation, redness, itching of eyes, watery eyes, etc. These symptoms usually subside on their own. However, consult your doctor if these symptoms persist or if they become severe. Renicol 0.5% Eye Drops is meant for use on the eyes only. Do not try to swallow, administer into the nose/ear, on cut wounds, etc. Use this medicine as prescribed by your doctor. Continue using this medicine for the prescribed duration. Skipping doses or not completing the full course of treatment may increase the risk of re-infection which would be difficult to treat in the future. Renicol 0.5% Eye Drops is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you are using any other eye drops/ointment or have any other eye problems.
