Description
Remetor-CV 20 Capsule is a medicine that contains Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel. It is used in the treatment of high blood cholesterol and triglycerides (fats) levels. It also helps to prevent the risk of heart attack and stroke (a condition that occurs due to reduced blood supply to the brain). This medicine works by preventing blood clot formation and reducing the production of unwanted fats in your body. Remetor-CV 20 Capsule has some side effects like dizziness, headache, nausea, vomiting, constipation, indigestion, etc. These side effects are mild and may subside by themselves when your body adopts this medicine. Consult your doctor if they bother you for a long time or become severe. This medicine acts as a blood thinner, thus it may increase the risk of bleeding. Remetor-CV 20 Capsule can be taken with or without food as prescribed by your doctor. Take it every day at the same time for ease of remembering and to avoid missing a dose. Avoid taking more than the prescribed dose as it may lead to side effects. Remetor-CV 20 Capsule is not recommended for use if you are allergic to it. How it works
Remetor-CV 20 Capsule is a combination of Atorvastatin and Clopidogrel. Atorvastatin decreases the production of cholesterol from the liver. This reduces the level of bad cholesterol and triglycerides (type of fats) and increases the level of good cholesterol in your blood. Clopidogrel prevents the formation of blood clots in your blood vessels and allows the smooth flow of blood.
