Description
Rapitus Plus Syrup is a combination medicine used for the symptomatic treatment of a non-productive cough (dry cough). This medicine is contraindicated for use in patients less than 2 years of age.

Allergy

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with a known allergy to levodropropizine, chlorpheniramine, or any other inactive ingredients present in the formulation.

Severe liver impairment

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from severe liver impairment due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition.

Bronchorrhea

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients suffering from bronchorrhea, a condition where there is an excessive production of watery mucus (bronchorrhea), since it may worsen the patient's condition.

Benign prostatic hyperplasia

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients with benign prostatic hyperplasia (enlarged prostate) since it may cause increased difficulty in passing urine.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI)

This medicine is not recommended for use in patients taking monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAOI) due to the increased risk of serious and life-threatening side effects. A time gap of at least 14 days should be maintained between stopping therapy with MAOIs and starting therapy with this medicine.

Neonates and premature infants

This medicine is not recommended for use in children under the age of 2 years.

General warnings

Driving or Operating Machinery

Diabetes Mellitus

This medicine should be used with caution in patients with a known history of diabetes mellitus due to the increased risk of worsening of the patient's condition. Use in elderly

How it works
