Description
R-Cinex 600 Tablet is a combination of Rifampicin and Isoniazid. This medicine is used for the treatment of tuberculosis (a bacterial infection that affects your lungs). It prevents the bacteria from growing, thus it helps in treating the infection. R-Cinex 600 Tablet might cause some side effects like nausea, vomiting, headache, heartburn, etc., that subside with time. Avoid consuming alcohol while you are on treatment with this medicine because it may cause excessive drowsiness. Inform your doctor if any of the side effects become severe or persist for a long time. R-Cinex 600 Tablet is recommended to be taken on an empty stomach. Abrupt discontinuation may cause the infection to reappear. It may take some time for the medication to show its effects. However, if you notice a worsening of your condition or if it does not improve, consult your doctor. R-Cinex 600 Tablet should be used with caution if you have liver and stomach/intestinal problems. R-Cinex 600 Tablet is a combination of two medicines, Rifampicin and Isoniazid. Rifampicin acts by blocking the action of a bacterial component, which is necessary for tuberculosis bacteria to multiply. Isoniazid prevents the growth of the protective layer of these bacteria. They work together to kill the bacteria and treat the infection.
