Description
Q-Sap Eye Ointment is a combination of Chloramphenicol and Hydrocortisone. It is used for treating various eye infections caused by bacteria. This medicine works by stopping the growth of bacteria and reducing the swelling of the affected eye/eyes. Q-Sap Eye Ointment can cause side effects like dry and irritated eyes. Most of these are temporary and resolve on their own. Avoid driving vehicles or operating machines after using this medicine as it can make your vision blurry. Q-Sap Eye Ointment is for external use only. Use this medicine as directed by your doctor. Your dose will be dependent on your condition. Apply this medicine at the same time every day for the ease of remembering. Do not stop the application without consulting your doctor as your symptoms could reoccur. Q-Sap Eye Ointment is not recommended in children below the age of three years. Inform your doctor about all your current medicines and pre-existing medical conditions. Q-Sap Eye Ointment is for external use only. Administer it as directed by your doctor. Do not touch your eyes with unwashed hands. Tilt your head back slightly and pull down your lower eyelid to create a small pocket. Hold the tube close to the eye with the tip facing downwards and squeeze it. Close your eyes for 2 to 3 minutes. Avoid sharing items like eyeglasses, contact lenses, pillows, towels, clothes, eye or face makeup when you are infected. Ensure that the treatment course is completed. Report any severe undesired side effects or a lack of improvement to your doctor immediately.
