General warnings

Hypotension

Consumption of Prostal500 MG Injection can cause a mild and short-lasting decrease in blood pressure. Caution should be exercised if you are taking any medication for lowering high blood pressure.

Prostal500 MG Injection should be used with caution if you are taking medicines for hypertension, heart disease etc. Report the use of all medicines including herbs and supplements to the doctor.

Prolonged and painful erection

Prostal500 MG Injection should be used with caution if you have had a painful erection lasting for more than 4 hours. This may be due to an underlying condition like Sickle cell anemia, Multiple Myeloma or Leukemia.

Bleeding disorder

Prostal500 MG Injection should be used with caution in patients with bleeding disorders. Suitable dose adjustment and safety monitoring are advised if the patient is taking medicines to manage the disorder.

Heart disease

It is recommended to use a barrier method of contraception (condoms) while having an intercourse to prevent unwanted pregnancy or while having an intercourse with a woman who may be pregnant.

Drowsiness

Prostal500 MG Injection may cause drowsiness, fainting, and a sudden fall in blood pressure in some patients. You should refrain from driving or operating heavy machinery after taking this medicine at least in the initial stages of treatment with this medicine.

Injection site bleeding and irritation

Use of this medicine may cause a small amount of bleeding at the injections increasing the risk of blood-borne infections. Inform the doctor if your partner has any infections that can be transmitted through blood (HIV, Hepatitis B, Hepatitis C etc.)

This medicine is not recommended for use in women.
