Description
Pregabid MNT Tablet is a combination of Pregabalin, Nortriptyline, and Methylcobalamin. It is used in the treatment of pain caused due to damaged nerves. It relieves pain by decreasing certain chemicals substances that send pain. It also repairs the damaged nerves. Pregabid MNT Tablet shows some side effects like nausea, headache, dry mouth, difficulty in urination weight gain, weakness, confusion, dizziness, etc. These symptoms may subside by themselves but consult your doctor if they bother you. Avoid driving or operating heavy machines as it may cause drowsiness. Pregabid MNT Tablet may be taken with or without food. Take this medicine at the same time every day for better results. Your doctor will determine the dosage and duration of this medication based on your condition. Never take more than the prescribed dose. Avoid the discontinuation of this medicine without consulting your doctor as it may lead to withdrawal symptoms like headache, mood swings, irritation, etc. Pregabid MNT Tablet is not recommended if you are allergic to it. Inform your doctor if you have any problems related to kidney, liver, or heart problems or if you are taking any other medicines. It is not recommended for use in children below 18 years of age as there are no safety and efficacy data established. Consult your doctor if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.

Allergy

Avoid taking Pregabid MNT Tablet if you are previously allergic to it. Seek immediate medical attention if you notice any symptoms such as skin rash, itching/swelling (especially of the face/tongue/throat), severe dizziness, breathing difficulty, etc.

Myocardial infarction

Myocardial Infarction or heart attack is caused due to reduced and/or improper supply of oxygen to your heart. Avoid taking Pregabid MNT Tablet if you are recovering from a heart attack as this medicine may worsen your health condition. Inform your doctor about your recent health problems before taking this medication.

Leber's Disease

Leber's Disease is an eye disorder, which may lead to loss of vision. The symptoms are pain in the eyes, blurring of vision, colour blindness, etc. Pregabid MNT Tablet is not recommended for use if you have this rare eye condition.

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors (MAO)

Monoamine oxidase inhibitors are used in the treatment of depression. Pregabid MNT Tablet } is not recommended if you are receiving monoamine oxidase inhibitors as it increases the risk of side effects. A time gap of at least 14 days should be maintained between stopping therapy with MAOIs and starting therapy with this medicine.

Kidney disease

Suicidal tendencies

Pregabid MNT Tablet should be used with caution as it may increase the risk of suicidal thoughts, especially if you have displayed such tendencies in your past. Close monitoring of mood and behaviour is recommended. Inform your doctor if you experience any symptoms.

Driving or operating machines

Pregabid MNT Tablet should be used with caution as it may increase the risk of drowsiness, dizziness, difficulty in concentrating, etc. in some patients. Hence, you should not perform any activities such as driving a vehicle or operating machinery if you experience any of these symptoms during treatment with this medicine.

Withdrawal symptoms

Sudden discontinuation of Pregabid MNT Tablet may lead to withdrawal symptoms such as irritability, mood swings, depression, nervousness, etc. Do not stop the use of this medicine without consulting your doctor.

Potential for abuse

Pregabid MNT Tablet may cause dependency, especially if you have used other recreational medicines in the past. Inform your doctor if you had a history of substance abuse before receiving this medicine. Your doctor may prescribe a suitable alternative.

High creatinine kinase levels

Myopathy is a condition in which the muscles do not function properly leading to muscle weakness. Use Pregabid MNT Tablet with caution in such conditions as this medicine causes an increase in the creatine kinase levels which may worsen your condition.

Liver diseases

Pregabid MNT Tablet should be used with caution if you have liver problems as it may lead to undesired effects. Your doctor will closely monitor your liver functions while taking this medicine and/or recommend dose adjustments based on your clinical condition.

Surgery

If anaesthesia is given during treatment with Pregabid MNT Tablet, it may increase the risk of side effects like low blood pressure and irregular heart rhythm. Hence, inform your doctor about the use of this medicine before undergoing any surgery.

Use in Children

Pregabid MNT Tablet is not recommended in children below 18 years of age since the safety and efficacy of this medicine is not clinically established.

Missed Dose

Take the missed dose of Pregabid MNT Tablet as soon as you remember. If it is time for your next scheduled dose, skip the missed dose. Do not double your dose to make up for the missed one.

Overdose
